So I don't know. Still waiting on a reply.

Wow! It added the s/h to your cart? That's good, but it's probably why Miro thinks you didn't pay the s/h---since most of the time, the cart DOESN'T add in the s/h.

Hopefully, they'll get back to you quickly on what's what. ^^

I guess they're just wanting to get their name out there, by selling dolls at so low a price---they can't be making much, if any, profit.

They are actually running slower than that, currently; as I've said before, I ordered at the end of february and still nothing, so going on about 53 days. I e-mailed them on monday and they said they would ship sometime this week and give me the tracking number, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. They are definitely running much more slowly than usual because of the event

I guess it's to be expected that they're finally backlogged, after holding this sale since December! I know the order I placed last month shipped in less than 26 days. Maybe I was lucky? I just ordered again 3-4 days ago, so we'll see how long they take this time! If you've been waiting that long (53 days), then most likely I'll have a 2-3 month wait, too. Luckily, I'm not in any rush. ^^

ordered a hujoo freyr, since i got my tax return back. i was only allowed to be a little irresponsible with it, lmfao.
he's already on his way, so looking forward to it!

huh. i might end up ordering (scratch that, did order) a mirodoll body since they're on sale. been needing one but didn't want to spend more than a hundred bucks on it because i'm a cheapass.

it didn't add the shipping for me though... do they send you an invoice for it later?

When the doll is ready to ship, Miro sends an email to you, asking you to pay the shipping cost. They give you their paypal address and then you just send them the funds.

I must be super lucky because I ordered a 68cm body last week, and last night, they told me he's about ready to ship and asked for me the shipping cost! So, they were even faster than ever! (I ordered on the 15th)
It's so strange how some orders are taking awhile and others are super short. Maybe what I ordered wasn't backlogged?

I ordered two Miro dolls on the site on April 2, paid by PayPal during the ordering process, and got charged for shipping during the process. The only shipping option was DHL (may be different for other destinations; I'm in the US). But they definitely charged me for shipping at the time of purchase, as the two dolls were each $114 but the total bill was $283, not $228.

Maybe their cart is configured incorrectly and only automatically charges shipping on certain items and isn't set to charge it on others? I think DHL is the only option they use for the full dolls. I know they sent my 1 head via the postal service, but the whole dolls seem to be always DHL.

Of the 4 (now 5) times I've ordered, I had to pay the shipping manually, separately later on. ^^

I've used 3 different emails and I still have not heard back from them about either my questions or my order status. Over two weeks now. FYI, they did charge me shipping on my bodies. It was a nice hefty fee actually. Cost me near as much as one body. I don't get why my order is taking to long actually compared to some others. 2 bodies, nothing extra, no special skin tones. No face ups to do. Throw a couple of standard bodies in a box and ship it, not so hard, right? I'm seeing people here and there with much more complicated orders than mine getting their stuff already.

I didn't figure on 2 weeks actually more like 4 which is why I am not squawking too loudly, but they could at least have answered the emails. I'd like to at least know the status of my bodies. I really don't like being held in limbo like this. It may only be $150, and it may be the norm for most BJD companies but I don't like it much. I'd be really hesitant to buy from them again with no contact after the fact for so long. All I got back was the Pay Pal receipt. No acknowledgement otherwise. No potential ship date. Nothing. I can't really order heads until I see them in person. See what they might match. I'm hoping the Dollmore heads but I won't know for sure until I have them in hand so...

:hugs: I'm so sorry! You must be so frustrated to not hear from them! :hugs again:
From everything I've read, I'll bet that their 1/4 bodies are the most purchased items and so the most backlogged and the longest to ship out. But they should respond----are you emailing: service@mirodoll.com ?
I wrote them the other night and they responded in 2 hours. ^^;; (They did me a HUGE favor, actually, so I can't help but be grateful to them. I purchased a 60cm girl body from my friend in the USA. She sent it just in its own box and during shipping, the sides collapsed and it opened. When I received it, the post office had taped it up 'Received with damaged contents' and told me to check it. I did a quick look, thought everything was included. [She had partially unstrung the doll, so it was in several pieces.] Then yesterday, a few weeks after I got her, I took a few minutes to completely string her and not only is the 'S' hook missing but the STOMACH piece is gone!!!! ACK! I was in a panic, and couldn't believe I'd missed that important part! So I asked my friend to check if by some miracle, she still had the tummy part and didn't ship it to me.
Nope, she'd sent it, so yes, the post office lost that piece on me.
I decided to ask Miro if they could send me a new tummy piece and how much they'd charge.
Guess what? They wrote back within 2 hours and told me not to worry, and that the cost would be $8!!!
Eight dollars! I had expected $20-30 like RS charges! You can imagine that I was thrilled. Moreso that they said my current [68cm boy body] order was about ready, would ship this week, and to send them the s/h cost for him, plus $8 for the stomach piece.)

They're usually so responsive and helpful like this. Maybe your messages aren't getting through? I email them from gmail and they get those fine.

If it's not the emails not getting to them, then it must be that their 1/4 bodies are extra backlogged, but either way, they certainly should respond to you, telling you the status of your order.
