Thanks to a refund check I received for overpaying a hospital bill, I can finally replace my son's broken iPod (which I claimed for myself - he cracked the screen and my husband took mine when his died after almost 6 years). I get to pick one out tomorrow.

I kind of want one of the red ones then I'd have it engraved 'toot toot chugga chugga red ipod' but touch wood mine is still going after all these years. I have a hard plastic clamshell case over it and that has done wonders for protecting it.

I vas bad. So much for sticking to my resolution not to buy any more little dolls for a while. I bought me 2 SwitchaWitch Bratzillas, singles, $2.99 a pop (Yeah you read that right, $2.99!!!) on clearance at Target. Both are the B&W girl with the funky silver eyes. One pair may get used in a "D" if they can fit or in an MT maybe if they don't though that would mean cutting open an MT head I suppose. I think they are between a 12 and a 14 from what I've read and likely they'll be too big for a Delilah. The other I guess I will put together. I'll have one body to experiment on though otherwise. Maybe I'll make me an OOAK sister for the one with some other eyes I have.

I ended up getting a 16 gig iPad mini. *sigh* I now just sleep with my iPod with the seriously destroyed screen. I have one of the military cases on it so the screen doesn't fall out. lol! As long as it still plays music, I'm good with it. I'm hoping I won't have to upgrade for a few years. lol!

Mine played music for a good solid year after I slipped in ice at the train station and broke my screen to the point where I couldn't read it anymore. It would have worked longer, but I had been gifted a second-hand iPod. Those things are tougher than they look!

Note the paint does come off of the bodies and the heads but the legs and arms are actually colored not painted. That was kind of vexing as I hoped to make one all white girl but could not. Eyes were too big for Delilah as I thought. I think I may use them in an MT doll OOAK. I've got a rotary tool. It's about time I learned to use it, yes?

Just paid for my Tonner American Model doll and got the email saying she should be here in a week. Cheap compared to a resin, but pricey for vinyl so it means I won't be buying any new dolls for a while. I may end up handing the box over to the DH and let him & our son give her to me for Mother's Day. Which would prolong the suspense of box opening for an additional two weeks!
