I just bought myself a new mobile phone!! I should have it in two days, I can't wait. I can't get a new phone through my provider until October and my phone is really.. well.. let's just say I dropped it too often, LOL. I immediately ordered a protection case with the new one

Not exactly a doll or an item, but we just signed up for high-speed! (Ok, at-home-wifi-through-DSL, but it's still high-speed!)

Someone's supposed to show up today to do something to the phone box out on the pole, and then they have to send us a router, and I'll have to hook it up. Hope it comes with instructions.

A tiny artist's dummy and an old barbie ballerina(I bought her for her body, lol) at the thrift store. I think they are two dollars well spent.

Let's see... got a knockoff-Barbie at a rummage sale on the 3rd for 50-cents. Rather ruined face on the poor thing, but the hair is the perfect color for Quint. I already have it braided and shorn off! XD

And, today I celebrated May 4th by ordering myself some Star Wars 1/6 scale figs. I don't know how poseable they are yet, but... the Pit Droids will look SO cute on my desk, I'm going to mug Grand Moff Tarkin for the pattern for his uniform (tho I'll put the actual one right back on him, except maybe the boots. He needs his slippers. XD You'd have to be a Star Wars geek to get that one), a Qui-Gon I plan to steal Jedi robe pattern from, and an Amidala I got because that way I don't have to recreate her dresses.. or worse, her hair styles (and the one I got came with extra hair accessories).

Picked up some white 4-way stretch fabric (it's labeled swimsuit lining on the reciept) and a thin green knit, to try to make a Legend of Zelda costume. If I can manage to actually make the costume (fitted to another slim male Obitsu I already have), then I will actually buy the doll.

Now, to make a bodysuit. Here goes nothin'...
