LPS Blythe experiment

Postby Evelien » Tue May 07, 2013 12:55 am

I finally caved and bought a LPS Blythe girl. Second hand, though. I have no idea which type she is, I can't find any pictures of this girl online!

I heated her head to remove her eyes and eyelashes. I also removed her face paint. I redid her faceup and gave her 8mm Captured in Glass eyes. It was very hard to position them the way I wanted though. I didn't want them to be looking up this much. I don't think I'm finished with her yet, I may go back in to cut away some more vinyl from the back of her eyewells... but after over an hour of fondling with those eyes I was just a little bit too sick of it :P

She's far from perfect. I scratched her faceup multiple times while messing around with those eyes. Also, the MSC 'cracked'. I guess that happened because of the heat that came from my blowdriver. I like her anyway. She doesn't have a name yet.

Very cool. I love her look better with the smaller eyes.

....... am I the only one who thinks those eyes make her look like she's going "Yessssss, I will devour your soul~!" ??
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Blythe always looks like that to me.
I think Evelien did a really good job; she looks a lot less creepy to me with her make-up like that and with the darker eyes.

Actually I thought of the movie Meet the Robinsons when the bad guy's younger self goes nuts, but that's just me. I thinks she's prettier with the smaller eyes.
