Hey, you're right. She's a 1957 Vogue Jill. Neato! I might sell her if I can get a decent price.

What a delightful group of vintage dolls, love all the pretty clothing and accessories (the trunk is great too).

Just glancing through looks like Ideal Miss Revlon, Vogue Jill, Uneeda Dollikins...one of them might be a Mitzi? And the vintage Geisha are lovely. What a wonderful collection, and a true pleasure to see! :D

OMG yes! Do NOT TOUCH these dolls to restore them! Plastics in the Fifties were differnt AND time has altered the chemical compositions and balances. What would work on a modern vinyl doll might MELT these!

Also, if there are any plastic shoes on the dolls' feet, CAREFULKLY REMOVE tHE... they may have caused a chemical reaction withthe material of the feet.

What you have is a virtual gold mine! Some of these dolls AND the clothing, could be worth a small fortune! I am positively drooling! But to be restored... take them to a professional. And check out price guides and collectors' websites. You have a Fifties time capsule there. Undisturbed for over sixty years! I am green with envy. Remember that lady with the Barbie collection! You won't have nearly the fortune she got but still... it's one Hell of a find!

I was quite lucky, none of the shoes had stuck to the feet and only one doll has serious greening around the ears. I've yet made the time to research the dolls or clothes. It looks like most of them are hand-made for the daughter. At least it seems that way, none have tags. I adore the little roller skates and ice-skates. And I found two pair of ballerina shoes for the largest doll. Such cute little details!

On a side note, in my parents basement I found a New Kids on the Block doll. *facepalm* I forgot I had one of those. hahahaha... vingate 80's anyone? *snicker*
