I think DHL is the only option they use for the full dolls. I know they sent my 1 head via the postal service, but the whole dolls seem to be always DHL.

Ah, that could be the case, certainly. My order was two 1/3 full dolls -- a Wind and a Lightning -- both with faceups. It's only been three weeks since I ordered, and I did request faceups, so I'm not the least bit worried about not having heard anything since my order was confirmed. They should know that I've paid shipping already, but if they ask for payment later, it'll be easy enough for me to show it was charged on the invoice.

I've tried from Gmail, from Yahoo, and from my roommate's account which is custom to our cable carrier and never goes into anyone's spam folder from what I can tell. No reply. I guess I'm just a bit impatient and nervous. I've never ordered anything from some place so far away or used a credit card via Pay Pal. As it was I had to get a family member with an Am Exp so we could even do it because our credit union credit cards they would not process via Pay Pal. I've heard some major horror stories about Pay Pal. They're my first and likely only BJD's too. Long time want so I don't take that for granted. I can't. So not knowing what's up with them is really hard.

I'll feel a lot more secure when I know they are on my shelf waiting for heads. I really want those Dollmore heads but the whole shipping from China thing is just killing me. I'm still half tempted just to buy some used heads domestically just so I don't have to go through this again with those! But I really want my Essex and Sara. Those heads they're perfect heads for me considering 98% of what I collect is fashion based dolls. I would have so much more fun with my BJD's if they were like fashion models than not. Most of the adult heads I've seen they have not been MSD sized and the ones I have seen, very expensive. These are reasonable, sort of, and the right size and color from what I can tell.

Also Essex and Sara they admittedly look a lot like me and one of my favorite imaginary boyfriends. That's too silly I suppose but I do think they're adorable together and it tickles me seeing a doll that looks a bit like me and a bit like him together. Oh geeze, that's so stalker creepy isn't it when you actually say it aloud? Okay, and this bit of dollie weirdness folks is coming from the same woman who gets completely creeped out when she sees a more childlike head on an adult body too!!! Here I am picking a doll because he looks like an actor who's looks I'm a bit mad about? I'm almost as bad as all those people who like that XXX Hentai stuff, aren't I? :P

Wait a minute though, I'm in good company here with that one, right? I mean considering how popular resin Mr Cumberbatch is and how many cute hand molded Doctors have popped up in pics around here? I'm not too perverted because I badly want a resin BJD doll that looks like a younger Soren-2 from the Prince and Me sequels, am I? The resemblance isn't dead on, particularly with the default face up, eyebrows are all wrong, mouth is too full, but the sculpt it's close enough for me in an "if Soren was a cartoon boy" sort of way and I think I can work it so it's closer. This is my favorite pick of Soren actually. I love him in his glasses, and yes, my boy will have him some chic ones and a snazzy dark suit just like that!

Oh and odd twist, the wiki for this guy, the actor? It says he was born in ESSEX, now is that too cute or what? A nice little bit synchronicity there. I figure "Essex" was kind of born to be Soren, no? That is going to be his name, btw. Haven't decided on her. I thought I might name her "Magdalena" after the great, great, and so forth, Grandma my screen name came from. But that might be pushing the weird factor I think.

Essex....

or even better this hair, but I'm not too sure it would work with a suit...

I'm wondering if I should e-mail miro again; last monday they said they would ship sometime that week and give me the tracking number, but I haven't heard anything since. If I didn't know people from here who had ordered from them before I would be getting seriously worried. As it is, I'm only a little worried that my order might fall through the cracks, so to speak. It's a small order, only one doll, but I am anxious to have him.
Well, I can wait-- I'm generally pretty good at that-- but if someone here who ordered a month or more after I did gets their doll first I might seriously lose it. :x

:hugs: I know what you mean! I do have a slight piece of good news for you---that might be also what's happening to you:

I ordered a head from them and a couple of weeks' later they emailed saying they'd ship that week and give me the tracking number.

A week passed and I didn't hear from them. Then another.

Finally they wrote and said the head shipped at the right time, but they just didn't email me about it. They sent a photo of the box and the tracking number, and I got the head a few days later. The postmark was when it should have been (1.5 weeks before) so maybe your item is shipped or in shipping process and they just didn't get back to you with the tracking?

It can't hurt to email them again, though, to check up and see if they can give you a tracking. ^^

I will be the proud owner of a mystery new Blythe (a blythe clone) in about 5 to 6 days! YAY! I was looking forward to having one for almost all year now. And my oldest son was being the sweetheart that he is and said he would buy me one. But I was not going to accept that without reason. So I told him to give me one for mothersday if he really wanted to give me one. So with mothersday comming up I ordered one today :D
I can't wait till she arrives!
AND I hope my son wont make me wait till its really mothersday... (I always did with his presents.... I knew one day this was going to turn around and bite me in the butt XD)
BJD's:
Audrey: Soulkid Liddell
Molly: Bambicrony Ciao Roko
Blythe (clone)
Pip: Myserious Blythe clone
Other
Kuma: Toy Field Kuma bear (small)
Isaac: commercial cheapisch baby dolly (but extremely cute!)
Read about them: Spark-a-doodle

Yay!!!! So glad for you!!!! Can't wait to see her. ^^

DHL just comes right to your home, like FedEx or UPS, or USPS. You'll have to sign for the package when they deliver it. Sometimes, they'll call you the morning they're going to deliver to make sure someone is home to sign for the package. So, if you have the tracking number, keep tracking it until you see the 'estimated' delivery date. Then, note the date and just make sure someone will be at your home then to sign for it and you're all set! ^^
